Steffanie Padilla is a Mexican-American visual artist + activist whose work practices on documentary, conceptual, and social art- displacement, environmental and speciesism. She observes and confronts ideas of cognitive dissonance through our relationship with non-human animals, revealing how our actions and beliefs contradict our words. She is a recent BFA photography graduate from the California State University of Long Beach who is now working towards a prospective MFA program worldwide.
